Course description:
Training to support the development of in-depth expertise system-based tools to support patient safety incident investigations.
This course covers the end to end systems-based patient safety incident response based upon the new NHS PSIRF and includes:

introduction to systems engineering initiative in patient safety (seips)

examples of analysing incidents through the lens of seips
-
introduction and practical application to each of the five tools: how and when to use them

how to use different elements from the tools
