Carmel Dodson Brown, Associate
Carmel has worked in the NHS most of her life. With a background as a nurse, she specialises in clinical governance and patient safety and has both commissioned and led many independent investigations.
She has worked for national agencies, including the National Patient Safety Agency, strategic health authorities as well as provider organisations.
Carmel’s experience includes acute, mental health, community trusts
and at Clinical Commissioning Groups.
Carmel has a Masters in Risk Management from the University of London. More recently Carmel has studied 'Understanding Human Performance' at the Cranfield Business School as well as Human Factors at Oxford University.
